Luner Imaging Among Finalists in Envision Kindness Photo Contest
Do you believe the world could be a kinder place?
It can, through photography.
Science shows that exposure to images of kindness can help people be kinder, happier, and more optimistic and generous. Envision Kindness is a non-profit that inspires kindness, compassion, joy, and love through still and video photography.
This week, Luner Imaging was chosen as a finalist in the Envision Kindness 2019 Our World is Kind Photography Contest.
A collective of 750+ photographers submitted more than 1,800 photos from over 85 countries to this year's contest. Being selected is an honor and an acknowledgement of the skill and ability to capture love, kindness, joy, and compassion. My photograph has inspired kindness amongst the selection panel, in addition to the hundreds of thousands of people who have already seen it.
How I Got Here:
- 20 finalists were selected through public selection. Votes, Facebook likes, and comments, all contributed to a photo's total points. The highest scoring photo (the photo with the most points) will be the winner of the Public Choice Award, to be announced in August.
- 20 finalists were selected by the Envision Kindness Team.
- 10 additional finalists were selected for consideration in the Nonprofit Honoree category.
Now it is up to the judges to determine the top prizes from the group of finalists. All winners will be announced in August. For contest updates, follow Envision Kindness on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter - or subscribe via newsletter at www.envisionkindness.org.
